Opening composition for the fourth album New Domes of Earth, ‘Beaches’ was written by itself. After completion, the images of beaches, both pristine and polluted came to mind. And later would formulate the cinematic story that would become the album, a technique I used before on Charlotta and Glass City of Us.

It was this idea of observing past and obsolete visual documents, deep in the future that lay the groundwork, for the story of a distant possible and terrifying world, which still clings to optimism despite its dystopian reality. Completed over the years of 2007 to 2009.
