“Postcards from Old Sounds” is a continuation from “Watercolours For Friends” in its approach to harmony and sound design. Using a long form minimalist structure, the idea is: that these small sounds from the early 2000s are carried forward into the present palette and shaped with modern tools. Telling us stories of where they have been. It was written in tandem with ‘Watercolours..’ in the spring of 2023.
