Coming from a place of filtered patterns ‘found sound’, the soft distortions on the descending sus 7s and minor 9ths was the starting point for ‘Arc’ the 8th track on Nonagon. Right away I had the image of a flock of birds struggling in a difficult stormy crosswind, only to find comfort and success in jet streams in the upper atmosphere.

From that, the tonality of the bass and prepared guitar was created. Later on it would take on a greater meaning when think of the grand beauty that is found in arcs, and circles. Completed in May of 2022.
